Hello, I want to analyze a well-test that was acquired in a shallow sandstone reservoir. The well is located very near to the well, and just further away from that fault is another fault. We believe one of the faults is leaky as bourdet derivative suggest one fault character. Is there a technique to evaluate which fault may be the picked up by welltest?

Hello,
Thank you for your reply. We took an extended test on the same well to clear our confusion over the two faults. Following is a the log-log snap of that test. I believe this is showing composite behavior. What are your thoughts?
Hi there,
Thanks for asking on ProPetra. I am not sure if I get your question completely. Do you see two faults on the log-log plot? or you have two faults in your structure map and you only see 1 on the derivative curve?
I would request if you can post a picture of the log-log plot & semi-log plot. This will greatly help in understanding the scenario.
Additionally, I would request your attention towards one of our free interactive service called "Match my Model", where in complete anonymity, we will work with you to interpret the well-test data so you can extract maximum information from it.
I'll be glad to help either way.
Best,
Imran
